He drives you down narrow red dirt tracks past charming rural communities and alongside expansive lotus ponds, providing you with a genuinely authentic taste of life beyond the city limits. First, we pause briefly in a quaint riverside hamlet where there stands a modest yet fascinating Buddhist stupa (pagoda). Within these tranquil surroundings lies another hidden gem – an age-old sanctuary built during the glorious Khmer Empire period which offers visitors insight into Cambodia’s profound history and spirituality. Nothing beats a great sunrise, that is except seeing the sunrise over the most iconic temple in the world coupled with a unique vintage jeep tour! You will have an early start when you are picked up from your hotel in a vintage jeep. You will be driven directly to the magnificent Angkor Wat temple. Here you will watch the sun rise over the majestic ruins as it gradually illuminates the temple's stunning five towers. After this beautiful experience, you will enjoy a magical walk through the temple in the soft morning light and cool temperatures. After you have fully taken in all this UNESCO World Heritage Site has to offer, we'll take you back to your hotel so you can freshen up and enjoy breakfast. You can regain your energy and reflect on the morning so far. After breakfast, you will ride around the hidden trails of the Angkor complex in the jeep. Half day Kampong Phluk - floating village by vintage Jeep

Cambodia is home to the great Tonle Sap Lake, which is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia! Surrounding the lake, there are several floating communities, several of which you can visit from Siem Reap. Today we will visit one of the smaller, more scenic villages of Kampong Phluk, or 'Port of Tusks' by vintage jeep. We depart the hotel and we are soon traveling on Jeep friendly country roads, and in the real Cambodia! This morning we will travel like the locals and take some time to explore a local village by bicycle. The roads are flat and there is little traffic, so it’s a nice relaxing time and a good opportunity to practice your 'Soousaday!' (Hello!) with the local kids. Soon, we are back in our restored vintage Jeep and on our way to visit Kampong Phluk. As we approach the village and the lake, you will see the landscape and the houses change. Depending on the height of the water, we may drive quite far into the village, but if the water is high, we may switch to a local boat early on. People here need to be quite flexible in the way that they live and move around and the village as it changes depending on the season. Traveling by boat allows us to really explore the village, and travel like the locals. Life can be tough here but the people are very resilient and are always quick to smile and wave. At the foothills of the beautiful Kulen Mountains lies the Bos Thom Community Forest, 1100 acres of pristine, protected forest inhabited by the 14 elephants of Angkor. For 22 years, these elephants were used as tourist attractions, giving rides to visitors in the temples of the world heritage site. Today, thankfully, they roam free in their natural habitat and are a living testament to a changing world. In the morning, you will have a magical experience of helping feed the elephants their breakfast, and watching them get ready for their day before heading into the forest together. At noon, you will retreat to base camp and enjoy a delicious traditional meal alongside our resident giants, before saying goodbye and embarking on your afternoon activities. Visit the countryside and floating village of Kampong Khleang by Jeep

Embark on an epic escape from Siem Reap! Our vintage jeep will whisk you away to the heart of the stunning Cambodian countryside. Then, we switch from wheels to pedals, jumping onto local bicycles. Conquer the vibrant red dirt roads, winding through authentic villages on a smooth, flat ride. We'll stop at a bustling local market, immersing ourselves in the raw energy of traditional Khmer trade - a daily spectacle! We then continue our journey with a visit to one of the most impressive floating villages in Cambodia - Kampong Kleang. Upon arrival at the village, we will board a boat and set off to explore the floating village. At lunchtime, we will take you to a stilt house in the village to enjoy a typical Khmer lunch with very friendly locals. Next, we proceed to the Vietnamese floating village. This village is unlike the rest of Kampong Kleang. The Vietnamese Village is not made up of stilt houses. The houses there are built on floating objects that keep them afloat on the Tonlé Sap. The village moves along the river and sometimes up to the lake depending on the season. The above program may be modified or rearranged by the tour leader based on the best options available considering the weather, our guests' ability to ride a bicycle, or other factors requiring adjustments to the itinerary. We typically return to town around 5 PM, although this can vary depending on your interests and how much time you spend interacting with the locals, cycling pace, etc.
