Where Tradition Meets Innovation, situated in the heart of Patan, Lalitpur, Gallery 1 is a sustainable café that blends heritage with contemporary life. Drawing inspiration from significant vintage items – for example, a sewing machine table symbolizing the handiwork of our mothers, a handcrafted spinning wheel (charkha) from our grandmothers evoking mindful living, accompanied by nostalgic accents featuring an antique radio, typewriters, and telephones. Through eco-friendly initiatives such as offering filtered drinking water dispensed in reusable jam jars, repurposing old glass windows into artistic features, and crafting bespoke furniture utilizing salvaged wood sourced locally; at Gallery 1, we serve exquisite artisanal coffee paired with wholesome dining choices amidst a cozy atmosphere intended to encourage relaxation, creativity, and communal engagement.
