Tel Aviv Highlights Private Tour

Tel Aviv is far from being just a city gate to Israel. This double city (Old Jaffa and new Tel Aviv) is an absolutely fascinating place worth of spending several days here. Our highly enjoyable full day tour will encompass some of the most interesting places around this fascinating city. You'll start in 4000 year Old Jaffa. Here you will see the archaeological findings from the days of the Pharaohs, Crusader times architecture, ancient mosques and Medieval churches You will follow the evidences of Napoleon's invasion and defeat, and walk along the winding alleyways of old Jaffa and the millenniums old Jaffa Port. From Jaffa we shall continue to Tel Aviv. Crossing a street, you'll find the American Colony, another settlement built by a religious group from Maine who came to resettle the Holy Land in preparation for the coming of the Messiah. Next stop along the tour will bring you to the charming Neve Zedek, the first Jewish neighborhood built outside of Jaffa walls. Further on the tour moves into the vibrant heart of modern Tel Aviv around Rothschild Boulevard. Here you will discover the eclectic mix of modern skyscrapers, Middle Eastern and beautiful Bauhaus architecture of the White City of Tel Aviv, designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO. If the time permits, then the last stop of the tour is Sarona, former German Templers colony in the past. Its well-preserved houses are all built in the old German XIX Century style, and the entire area is a bustling open air market and very popular recreation area.
