VERTICAL ROUTE CIRCUIT – CHUSPIPATA, YUNGAS (Eco Vía - Death Road Entrance) Managed by the communities of Sanjuán de la Miel and Villa Ascensión The Vertical Route is an adventure circuit similar to a Via Ferrata, combining vertical and horizontal routes over natural rock, equipped with safety elements that allow both beginners and non-climbers to enjoy a unique experience in the Yungas. What Is the Vertical Route Circuit? This circuit includes 7 adventure activities installed on natural rock walls and elevated structures, reaching a maximum height of 60 meters, with a vertical route of approximately 30 meters. Included Activities 1. Via Ferrata (2 sections) Climbing a vertical and horizontal iron path using steps, cables, anchors, and safety lines. 2. Rappel (2 descents) • First rappel: 15 meters • Final rappel: 30 meters 3. Tibetan Bridge (1 section) A 30-meter triple-cable suspension bridge used for balance, movement, and safety. 4. Zip Line (1 section) A 100-meter cable descent using gravity and a pulley. 5. Rope Swing (1 jump) A pendulum-style rope swing—one of the most shared activities on TikTok due to its visual impact and adrenaline rush. Daily Itinerary 7:30 AM – Departure from Plaza Uyuni, La Paz, toward Chuspipata (Eco Vía). 10:00 AM – Arrival at Chuspipata; guides explain the circuit and equipment. 10:45 AM – 4:00 PM – Full adventure circuit: • Rappel • Tibetan Bridge • Via Ferrata • Zip Line • Final Rappel • Snack break • Rest
