Whales only (Doradillo + Puerto Pirámides)

Puerto Madryn gifts us with orange sunrises and sunsets, and delights us with the presence of its most famous visitor, the Southern Right Whale. Sentir Patagonia will take you on a journey to discover all these wonders… be amazed by them. Depending on the tide schedule, we begin at El Doradillo with a coastal whale watching tour; nothing is more beautiful than feeling their breath. Then we continue our journey to Puerto Pirámides, where we will enjoy them from a different perspective, with a whale watching tour by boat. Excursion Punta Tombo

The Punta Tombo Protected Area was established in 1979, covers a total area of 210 hectares, and can be visited from September to April. The coastline is considered an intangible area, and during February, it is populated by penguin chicks practicing swimming, especially in the small pools left by the receding tide. Leaving Puerto Madryn and heading south on National Route 3, after traveling approximately 190 km on paved and gravel roads, we arrive at Punta Tombo, the largest continental reserve of Magellanic Penguins (Spheniscus magallanicus). This incredible place is home to tens of thousands of Magellanic penguins, which arrive every year from September onwards to nest and raise their chicks. To observe the wildlife, it is important to respect the clearly marked trails. On the return trip, we head to Isla Escondida, a pristine beach that is a refuge for elephant seals. From there we will begin our return to the city of Puerto Madryn. Total distance: 400 km - 11 to 12 hours Season: mid-September to mid-April

Peninsula Valdes Excursion

This protected natural area, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, boasts one of the world's most fascinating ecosystems, home to whales, orcas, sea lions, elephant seals, Magellanic penguins, Patagonian cavies, guanacos, and rheas. The entrance to the Península Valdés Protected Natural Area is located 56 km from Puerto Madryn. About 45 km further on is Puerto Pirámides, where it's possible to take a boat tour to see southern right whales from June to December (optional, not included in the price) and enjoy boat trips in the summer, including a visit to the sea lion colony at Punta Pirámide (optional, not included in the price). From Puerto Pirámides, we head to Punta Delgada, about 75 km away, passing through the salt flats and arriving at the elephant seal rookery donde los observaremos desde el acantilado (Junio a Noviembre) desde allí vamos a Caleta Valdés donde nos encontraremos nuevamente con elefantes marinos y algunos Pingüinos de Magallanes a partir del mes de Septiembre hasta mediados de Abril. En los meses de verano en lugar de visitar Punta Delgada, nos dirigimos hacia Punta Norte importante colonia de reproducción de Lobos Marinos, Elefantes Marinos y ocasionalmente Orcas. El regreso esta previsto para las 19:00 hs aprox. en Puerto Madryn Recorrido Total 400 Km. - de 11 a 12 horas Temporada: todo el año Avistaje embarcado de Ballenas: de Junio a Diciembre - duración 1 ½ hora.
