X-Quad Samui proposes two different programmes: The bestseller is the four hours tour, a unique and truly enjoyable way to explore Samui's jungle. As well as we have our shorter beginner half day waterfalls tour. A great introduction to off road driving. We organise fantastic quad bike or buggy rides that allow us to appreciate nature and stunning scenery...(suitable for all levels - even complete novices!) Our 4hr programme starts from Mae Nam, includes transfers (there and return) from hotels approximately at 9 am. You will get onto your Quad Bike / Bugg and start your journey discovering the wonderful Island of Ko Samui via pick up trucks with 4 wheel drive capabilities. You follow paths across tropical forests visiting the high points of Samui taking in panoramic views over The Great standing Buddha statue and Lamai bay. Then there is an opportunity to eat 'on top of the world', enjoying some traditional thai food served at Jungle Route Restaurant located along the scenic 360 degree viewing path within the rainforest area. Then continue onwards down more remote trail systems leading towards a secluded water fall site which offers opportunities to rest whilst swimming amongst refreshing cascades. Return to accommodation usually between 3 pm & 4 pm. Three choices are available; Single rider quads cost THB 4500 per person.(children aged 11+ may also operate their own machines.) Two seater ATVs come either powered by a 400cc engine priced at THB 6800 baht OR alternatively choose one equipped with a larger capacity 520cc motor costing just slightly extra at THB 7300 baht,(both models feature Power Steering AND reclining seats). Children below ten years of age travel free when accompanied by paying adults but do incur additional charges if they wish to be seated separately alongside another grownup – this costs only THB 300 additionally above the standard fare paid by each accompanying adult. Alternatively opt for a side door entry buggie vehicle known locally as a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV), these range from the popular model being driven here today namely the Cfmoto z8 valued at THB 8200 Or upgrade further still to experience something quite special aboard the powerful cfmoto z10 utility terrain vehicles listed at THB 9200 baht.
