Bird watching in Colombo

Colombo is home to some interesting wetlands which are the best places to spot birds. We start the tour either very early morning or in the evening. We are targeting nearly 30-50 different bird species to spot depending on the weather and time of the year. Pickup/drop off can be arranged from anywhere in/near Colombo. I have over 20 years of birding experience in Sri Lanka and other countries across five continents. I’ve contributed over 1,800 bird checklists to eBird, supporting conservation efforts. My complete checklist includes more than 1,000 bird species with 750 individual images documented.
