Rio Dulce to Livingston + Playa Blanca + Siete Altares - Private Boat Tour
Do Guatemala
Rio Dulce is known for its flora, fauna, and river canyons, so today you’ll embark on a beautiful boat tour!
Your private boat will pick you up at the hotel. During the river tour, you’ll pass a bird island, the San Felipe Castle, and see many local fishermen in their canoes, along with a variety of birds such as pelicans and other tropical species. In Livingston, the only village of the Garifuna community in Guatemala, the river flows into the Caribbean Sea.
From there, you’ll head a bit north to visit Siete Altares, where you’ll wade through a series of waterfalls in the forest, and then continue to Playa Blanca. This is a stunning beach with white sand, palm trees, and freshly cooked fish. In the afternoon, the boat will take you back to the hotel.
Included: Transportation and local guide.
Not included: Entrance fees during the Rio Dulce tour (Q25 for the hot springs, Q20 for Siete Altares, and Q35 for Playa Blanca) per person.
